Bernd Petak, Advisor, Global Debt Markets

TORONTO, SEP 13, 2016 – The National Crowdfunding Association of Canada (NCFA) today announced that Bernd Petak, Chief Operating Officer of Finstripe and investment partner at Northmarkventures, has joined the Association’s Advisory Board as Advisor, Global Debt Markets.

Bernd Petak is Chief Operating Officer of Finstripe.com a Fintech company based in Vancouver and serving the global debt markets. He is also Investment Partner at Northmarkventures.com, an active investor and service provider to technology-driven entrepreneurs across North America. Bernd is a veteran of early stage technology companies as founder, CEO, CFO and COO, was president of an active Canadian early stage venture fund. He is a former strategy and operations partner at Deloitte where he delivered innovative financial technology services around the world. He advises a number of technology companies including WealthBar.com, an innovator in how Canadians invest for their future. Bernd also sits on the board of Screenscape.com, a growing and successful digital media company based in Atlantic Canada. Bernd is a committed contributor to the development of the Canadian technology driven eco-system in the areas of financial innovation including crowdfunding, banking & financial management as well as having a special interest in crypto-technology. Bernd mentors for a number of incubators and accelerators and speaks regularly on technology and financial topics.
