Paul Niederer, Advisor
Equity Crowdfunding
TORONTO, JULY 19, 2016 – The National Crowdfunding Association of Canada (NCFA) today announced that Paul Niederer, Founder of Raiseworth and ASSOB International, has joined the Association’s Advisory Board as Advisor, Equity Crowdfunding.
“We are excited to have Paul, a globally recognized leading authority on equity crowdfunding, join the NCFA advisory at a critical time in the industry’s growth, as we move to increase efficiencies and strengthen the appetite of accredited and unaccredited investors in Canadian crowdfunding and fintech markets”, said Craig Asano, Founder and Executive Director of NCFA Canada.
Paul is highly experienced in the due diligence processes involved in raising capital for businesses and non-profits and is actively sought after to advise on building complaint systems. His trademark is in re-designing existing processes to be based on trust based systems. While the blockchain area is technical, 80% of the effort in implementing a successful solution is achieved through business process re-engineering for online transactions.
Paul has experience in both accredited and unaccredited investor raises. Internationally he is known as “Mr Governance” due to the fraud free reign he managed when CEO of ASSOB, the world’s oldest equity crowdfunding platform. He has spoken in minimizing fraud in equity based crowdfunding transactions a number of times.
Paul Niederer, Founder of Raiseworth and ASSOB International and assists Wealth Migrate in the rapid growth of their fintech property crowdfunding platform internationally, said “Having personally been involved in successfully raising capital for over 90 companies, investor aggregation and the development of trust based blockchain driven systems, and with the continued intense interest in worldwide equity and collaborative funding platforms, we are happy to participate on the NCFA Advisory to provide guidance to key stakeholders on structuring funding portals, processes, and navigating equity crowdfunding raises while establishing a fair deal for investors and all parties involved.”
Paul lives south of Brisbane on Australia’s eastern coast and relishes the opportunity to discuss peer to peer finance developments and any moves towards the democratization of capital.
