VANCOUVER and TORONTO, ON Dec 9, 2014 – The National Crowdfunding Association of Canada (NCFA Canada) today announced that Darryl Burma, CTO and Co-Founder of CrowdMapped and NetSoar has joined the Association’s Crowdfunding Ambassadors Program.
Crowdfunding Ambassadors (CFAs) are leaders, educators, supporters and advocates of an inclusive and broad-based crowdfunding industry in communities across Canada. They are circles of influence and ‘go to resources’ for small businesses and investors to connect with, share and learn about crowdfunding via locally hosted events and initiatives. CFAs are specialists and plugged into an international network of shared resources, thought leadership, and industry professionals striving to cultivate and shape the future of crowdfunding in Canada and beyond.
“Darryl is a web and marketing savvy developer committed to the advancement of crowdfunding globally by focusing on delivering quality education and resources, and we welcome him to the growing NCFA Ambassadors program,” said Craig Asano, Executive Director of NCFA Canada.
Darryl has over 18 years of online development, branding, social media & marketing experience and throughout the years has helped numerous companies and individuals achieve their goals. He’s been heavily involved in the crowdfunding industry since 2011 and is very passionate about using his skills to help others succeed.
Darryl co-founded CrowdMapped in 2011 that connects individuals with the right crowdfunding companies, funding portals & service providers in order to build valuable, trusting and rewarding relationships that yield the best results.
As a whole, we all need to do our part to help educate and build more awareness about crowdfunding. Despite the fact that crowdfunding has taken the world by storm the past several years and has impacted practically every industry imaginable, many people in the general public have never even heard of the term.
"Our goal is to help educate people to make the right connections to meet their needs, provide clarity and realistic solutions and accurate answers to the many questions that they have,” said Darryl Burma, CEO, CrowdMapped
