TORONTO, ON   Nov 18, 2013 –  The National Crowdfunding Association of Canada (NCFA Canada) today announced that Lyn Blanchard, President of Creekstone Consulting, has joined the Association’s Crowdfunding Ambassadors Program.

Crowdfunding Ambassadors (CFAs) are leaders, educators, supporters and advocates of an inclusive and broad-based crowdfunding industry in communities across Canada.  They are circles of influence and ‘go to resources’ for small businesses and investors to connect with, share and learn about crowdfunding via locally hosted events and initiatives.  CFAs are specialists and plugged into an international network of shared resources, thought leadership, and industry professionals striving to cultivate and shape the future of crowdfunding in Canada and beyond.

Lyn Blanchard is President of Creekstone Consulting Inc., a management consulting company that supports clients in the areas of strategic planning, alliance creation, business development and financing. She is a frequent speaker and author on topics associated with innovation, crowdfunding and entrepreneurship. Her passion is to help companies grow to the next level of success.

Lyn is a founder of Heart Force Medical Inc., a medical devices company, and is currently a Director of Benchmark Capital Inc. She has served as a board member for various Non- Profit organizations. Lyn also holds a Certified Management Consulting designation (CMC) from the Institute of Management Consulting of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Commerce (SPAD) degree.
