The committee, composed of thought leaders and experts from various sectors including fintech, legal, regulatory, and finance, is tasked to bridge the gap between cutting-edge financial technologies and the existing securities regulatory framework. It's a timely initiative, as the financial sector is witnessing unprecedented growth in areas like blockchain, artificial intelligence, and digital currencies.
