Who We Are

The National Crowdfunding & Fintech Association of Canada (NCFA Canada) is a non-profit financial innovation ecosystem that provides education, market intelligence, industry stewardship, networking, funding opportunities and services to its global network and works closely with industry, government, regulators, partners and investors to create a sustainable and vibrant industry. Community-based and inclusive, NCFA is engaged with stakeholders who incubate projects and invest in fintech, web3, blockchain, crypto, artificial intelligence, alternative finance, open banking, and payment companies at the forefront of transforming financial markets whose goal is to create real value for businesses and consumers.

Membership is comprised of a network of fintech start-ups/scale-ups, entrepreneurs seeking capital and resources, investors (private, retail, angel and venture capital) and industry participants in the emerging digital economy such as licensed dealers, consultants, marketing/media/PR, and finance specialists, lawyers, accountants, and social enterprise groups working to build and advance innovative capital market models, infrastructure and financial products and services.  While membership has a Canadian focus, NCFA remains open and inclusive to international members and plugs into a vast network of fintech leaders and global communities around the world to collaborate and share best practices, standards, thought leadership, education, and services.

What We Do

The NCFA Canada works to reach this destination by:

• Researching, consulting, partnering and advocating for sensible solutions to key issues that impact industry
• Educating businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, the public, media and regulatory bodies regarding trends, initiatives, regulations, and emerging best practices
• Developing strategic program initiatives that impact members and their daily interactions with industry
• Provide market and venture development services and networking opportunities to contributing members
• Establishing a relevant and strong membership network that contributes to NCFA Canada policy and provides networking opportunities with professionals in the industry
• Assisting members and the public in identifying and reporting fraud
• Advocate the growth of a collaborative and dynamic alternative finance and venture funding ecosystem
